MEDICAL CENTRE Construction

The building process and the outcome for this 6-consulting room Primary Care Clinic was a magnificent result for our client and his staff. Very few building firms could have managed a build with such tricky staging on this tight and continuously occupied site.

The existing building was carefully quarantined during a 3-month construction phase, and the new building commissioned before demolition of the old clinic could begin. We have become expert at managing the logistics required for working in live environments, on tight sites for this technically demanding building type. Forward planning, thoughtful staging, clear OH&S protocols and anticipation born from our experience with medical centres enabled us to safely build and limit medical downtime to a single handover weekend.

The combination of unusually favourable soil and site access conditions, a trusting client and our good understanding of the architect’s design enabled us to put a quality building together in quick time and for an amazingly tight budget.
